The popularity of CBD has resulted in a lot of conflicting information on the market. The most common equation of CBD and marijuana is a misinterpretation. CBD oils are sold legally in Poland. The condition is that the THC content is below 0.2 percent. This means that CBD is not a psychoactive compound, making CBD oil safe for children.
CBD in the fight against children’s diseases
Thanks to its properties, CBD is considered the most suitable cannabinoid effective in the fight against pathologies occurring among children. These oils work well for the treatment of epilepsy and behavioral disorders. In addition, they are well tolerated by the human body and help to heal and alleviate existing diseases. CBD is considered to be a much safer alternative to the drugs used so far in children. This product is currently used to combat autoimmune pathologies, including ADD / ADHD disorders, anxiety disorders and even depression. There is also ongoing international research focused on the treatment of Dravet’s syndrome and disorders with elements of autism. CBD is believed to help fight seizures and reduce pain associated with, for example, joint pain, muscle spasm and pain caused by cancer.
Can CBD cause side effects?
Any treatment, whether in adults or children, should be started with a consultation with a doctor. Side reactions in children are usually more pronounced than in adults, so out of concern for their safety, each use should be consulted with a doctor. Nausea and fatigue are the most common among children treated with CDB oils. In most cases, these symptoms are associated with the use of oils in severe diseases, such as cancer or epilepsy, where the dose of the drug must be quite strong. This means that this nausea or vomiting has far less consequences than an untreated cancer.
There are more and more treatments based on the use of CBD oils in Poland. The Foundation for Children “Help on Time” is one of the few that finances treatment with oils among children.
